Columbia Engineering and Services, Inc., was incorporated in 1963 as the engineering arm of an Atlanta corporate conglomerate. Our offices have been located in the Atlanta region since the beginning, and in Gwinnett County since 1989. The company expanded in the early 1980's to provide services to other developers, government agencies and directly for retail corporations. Columbia's services include site design, LEED project design (both public and private projects), transportation, single family and mixed use residential subdivisions, public utilities, landscape architecture and land surveying. We have grown to over 40 employees, which are comprised of 11 professional engineers, 4 registered land surveyors and 2 licensed landscape architects. Columbia Engineering has leading edge technology capabilities. By using the latest releases of software such as Civil3D2008, AutoCAD, and StormCAD we ensure that our clients receive an accurate and timely product that meets or exceeds their design criteria. In the transportation arena, we offer our clients Civil3D, AutoCAD, and Microstation/CAiCE platforms, allowing us the flexibility to interact with inter-discipline design teams and consultants.
