Peachtree Subdivision Water Line Replacement, Gwinnett County, Georgia

Columbia Engineering designed the water pipe replacement system for Peachtree Subdivision, in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Existing water lines for Peachtree Subdivision were 8” PVC pipe with existing pressure reducers to minimize breaks. Columbia Engineering designed 10,908 linear feet of 8” and 230 linear feet of 6” D.I.P. replacement water line within the roadway of Alvation Court, Bellview Way, Berryton Court, Clinchfield Trail, Covena Court, Flippen Trail, Nahuna Court, and Rydal Court, in Peachtree Subdivision. As an alternate construction method for this project, Columbia was asked to review “pipe bursting” as a construction method.
